Mandala Bee

Finally some new crafts! This was an enjoyable little project and I like the result so much that I might stitch it again on a piece of clothing. This fabric is 28ct Aida. If I make it again, it’ll probably be on a 14ct water soluble canvas.

September

We’re slowly coming to the spooky time of the year. I hope to be able to draw more soon; actual drawings, rather than just doodles in my journal. Maybe even catch an October art challenge!

July Overview

This design will become a large embroidery piece on the back of a jeans shirt. It’ll take a long time to make, probably, but I’m looking forward to stitching again.

Vintage Rubber Toy

This freehand embroidery piece took over a month to complete. It is 12 cm diameter (4.72 inch) and made with various floss brands on pink/purple linen. The design was inspired by vintage rubber toys, such as from the Rushton brand. But mine has a bit of a dark streak. ^^

Green Faces

Materials: Prismacolor Softcore/Verithin, Polychromos, Koh-I-Noor pencils and white gel pen on green cardboard.
