Artworks Exposed

I’m always trying to come up with new styles/subjects. I tend to be careful and precise when I draw and challenged myself to be a bit messy this time. It paid off, as I really like these wavy eyes and will surely incorporate them into future works.

Here are a few 2 hour projects I did recently. The eye pin has gold and red metallic threads, which are really sparkly, but hard to photograph.

Face challenge; various types of graphite in a sketchbook.

October means many art challenges, and this year I’m doing my own list: Cocktober. (Yeah, I came up with that all by myself).

October 1: Witch

Materials: Bristol board, Staedtler pigment liners, Stabilo red fineliner. Size: 10,5×7,3 cm or 4.1×2.9 inch

Prismacolor Premier, Polychromos, Prismacolor Verithin and Koh-I-Noor pencils and a white gel pen on toned paper.

First time trying a semi realistic style in embroidery. The result is quite pleasing.

Trying out different media. Multicolored yarn, embroidery floss, plastic stars and ribbons on black linen.
